The PR team at McCann Birmingham supports agency clients and is a leading UK PR agency in its own right. We specialise in storytelling, setting out to uncover the brand ‘truths’ within an organisation to create content. Then, we package and leverage these truths into engaging stories which we bring to life through a range of channels – both traditional and digital.
In this way, we use PR strategically (to build trust, influence and persuade) and tactically (to drive awareness and understanding) in order to create a change in behaviour.
PR isn’t just about getting press coverage. It’s about being a commercially effective part of the marketing mix. It’s about getting stand-out – ensuring key messages are heard within the most appropriate context. As a result, we go beyond traditional media to understand the triggers that stimulate target audiences. This focus means our clients get harder-working PR solutions and it also makes us more accountable.
All of our campaigns are measured. Our new McCann Works Evaluation Model tracks outcomes and Return on Marketing Investment (“ROMI”). As a result, we have won over 20 awards over the last three years, proving the effectiveness of our work.
