MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING ASSISTANT
We are looking to recruit a Media Planning and Buying Assistant to support our rapidly growing media team. This is an opportunity to work at the largest advertising and media agency in the West Midlands on exciting clients across sectors including retail, travel, finance, charity and property.
We are looking for hard-working and ambitious team players who have a genuine interest in media & advertising, excellent organisational skills and are highly proficient in elements of Microsoft Office, notably Excel, Word and Powerpoint. This role offers excellent potential to learn and grow in a thriving, highly successful agency.
Candidates will be trained to plan and buy across all offline media including national and local press, magazines, radio, outdoor, door drops and direct mail
Candidates must be prepared to learn their craft at an entry level but such is the growth of the agency, a strong attitude, ambition and team ethic can deliver fast progression.
Provide support to the Media Planning team including media recommendations, some rate negotiation, competitor activity analysis, and booking campaigns
Independently carrying out media research including, client, category and cultural analysis
Monitoring campaigns and post-campaign reporting
Assisting with preparation of PowerPoint presentations
Assisting with monthly invoicing
A proactive and positive "can do" attitude
Computer literate, i.e. good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel in particular
Strong administrative skills
Concern for and a superb attention to detail
Able to prioritise workloads and work to multiple deadlines
Good communication skills
Curiosity about advertising, media planning and business
Strong team spirit
