SOCIAL MEDIA BUYER
We are looking for a Social Media Buyer who has a passion for both data, analytics and the world of social media. You’ll be responsible for working across all social platforms to plan, implement, manage and optimize data-driven campaigns as part of our social media team. You will focus on paid social display and video activity across a range of exciting clients – including some extremely well-known national and international brands.
Work closely with account leads, planners and strategists to develop social media plans, including channel selection and budgets.
Execute and optimize social media spend, making ongoing adjustments to creative, targeting, and bidding on various buying platforms.
Run paid media in API partner platforms and directly in social platforms.
Set up campaigns, manage trafficking, ongoing optimization, and reporting to meet/exceed targets.
Analyze media spend datasets to create weekly/monthly reports to share with teams and clients.
Work with key platform partners, focusing on ad product & creative innovation, audience and data strategy, and measurement and attribution opportunities
Stay up to date on new ad products and technology advancements, understanding how to translate them to deliver on business goals and how they work with your media plan.
1-2 years’ experience in digital media buying and/or planning across the core social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram experience essential).
Digital media buyer/planner experience at a media agency, or other social buying platform is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and numerate.
Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn new channels, platforms and internal businesses.
