Birmingham Design Duo Awarded Young Lions

Cannes may not be taking place this year but that hasn’t stopped two of our Birmingham designers picking up hardware in the UK Young Lions Competition.

McCann Birmingham designers Michael Greenhalgh and Tidiane Diagana have scooped a silver award in the design category which is open to teams of two, under the age of 30.

Mike and Tidiane were tasked with coming up with a campaign idea for the Ad Association’s diversity and inclusion initiative, encouraging more young people from diverse backgrounds to choose a career in the ad industry. Together, they beat off competition from 175 other entrants.

Mike and Tidiane will receive tickets to the Cannes annual summit in 2021 as their prize.

Huge well done to Mike and Tidiane – a fantastic, really well deserved result.
